We are all storytellers. We all live in a network of stories.
This is the line our studio was founded on — pulled from a small note our founder Rigon Statovci kept above his desk in Prishtina. Eight years later, it's still the line that decides which projects get our best work. The reason is boring and important: stories are how human beings remember anything. The list of bullet points you scroll past on a slide deck is processed by a different part of the brain than the line your colleague told you at coffee. The line at coffee gets repeated. The bullet point gets forgotten.
For most of the brands we work with, the gap between what they want their customers to remember and what their customers actually remember is enormous. They have a deck full of value propositions, and a customer who can describe them in one bored sentence. That gap is where our work happens.
What does "narrative as a deliverable" actually mean inside a project? Usually it means we spend longer on the first half of the brief than the team expects. Discovery is the part most studios shortcut to get to the visible work. We push back hard on that. We want to know what the founder actually believes about her market. We want to know the unrecorded line her best customer told her once about why she came back. We want to know the version of the company that exists when nobody's pitching.
That material — the things the brand actually has to say that aren't in its own deck yet — becomes the spine of every campaign, site, app, and identity system we make. Everything else hangs off it.
It's why we don't bid on jobs without a kickoff workshop. It's why our case studies all open with the brief we were given and the brief we found underneath. And it's why this new site, in eleven languages, opens on the same line that's been above the founder's desk since 2018.
